We took the girls on what could possibly be some of their last trips to the park this year. We had plans on going regularly, but we ended up getting so much rain late in the summer that we just never made it as much as we hoped!
We knew that the park would be wet, but we decided that we better try to squeeze in one more trip.
Twins HAVE to share a swing at the park...
John took a very flattering picture of me. This is my pre-playing routine, disinfect the swing!
Can you tell that we're pretty excited about swinging?
Ada was having a great time on the swing.
Evie, not as much. There was a dog in the backyard of a nearby house that kept barking. This really concerned Evie. She had a hard time really enjoying the park.
Holding on for dear life!
Eventually the dog went in and we were all smiles!
The sand was a bit wet to play in, but the girls were way to excited to not let them dig in.
It made a HUGE mess. The plan was to go for a walk after the park. The girls were so covered in sand we had to decide whether we should go for a walk or just go home.
John convinced me that we should just go for a walk but to take off their clothes and put on their jackets and blankets. As we were walking the girls REFUSED to stay covered up with a blanket. So here we are walking along the path with the girls wearing jackets and just diapers. We got some pretty funny looks!

I would have loved to see a picture of them in their coats and diapers! :) Swinging them both at one time is the best! I think they make those swings for that purpose!
