You can't have to much Christmas in the house right?
The girls wanted to spread a little more Christmas to everyone!
Last year for Christmas, Uncle Brian got the girls huge stuffed bears. Now they're big enough to play with them!
The bears are still bigger then the girls.
The girls had some fun playing with them and they're a great Christmas toy.
Did you make Christmas countdown chains when you were little?
I know we did. We used to make chains to count down how many days until Christmas. It was so much fun, then when it got shorter we knew it was near! I made a chain for the girls for some decoration. Since they don't really know what Christmas is yet, we'll wait until maybe next year to start tearing them off.
Last year the girls got these cute little snowmen decorations. They're mini snow globes shaped like snowmen and they light up. The light changes colors too. They're pretty cool. This year they're the perfect size for their grubby little hands!
When Ada puts her's down, Evie will go and pick it up and follow Ada around until she takes it back!
This is our annual Christmas ornament. We started this tradition when we first moved to Omaha and collected the previous years as well. That Christmas John got a silver sleigh bell from his Grandma. His Grandma and Grandpa had been collecting them and hanging them on their tree for as far back as he knows, and probably further. That year (2007) she decided to give one to each of her kids and grandkids. Since the tradition was something that became special to the whole family, we thought it would be a great thing for our family to start. I'm really glad that we have and the bells are the main decorations on our tree.

Christmas is the best time of the year! You can tell that your girls are already loving Christmas!! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's good to see you are starting your family tradtions and it looks like Ada and Evie like it.
