Snow!

The girls had such a good time watching the neighbor kids play in the snow yesterday that they really wanted to play in the snow!

They're not ready to get out and crawl around the snow yet, and we don't have full snow suits for them.  Instead, we took the next option...

Bring the snow in for them!

We filled a big bowl full of snow and brought it in for the girls to play with.

The girls dug right in!

It was great to let the girls play with the COLD snow.

They would pick up a chunk and squeeze it in their hands until it pretty much became a little ball of ice.

I was worried that they were going to start a snow ball fight in the kitchen but they were good and no snow was thrown.

When they were done, their little hands were freezing!

I used to LOVE to play out in the snow.  We would play outside for hours on end.

Growing up on the farm we had all kinds of space and snow to play with too.

Luckily we have a pretty big backyard area for the girls to play in when they get bigger.  Hopefully, they like playing in the snow too.

With Christmas getting closer we keep getting asked what the girls want for Christmas.  My first thought is usually, they're one.  The only things that they WANT on a regular basis is milk and food.  It is amazing though, now that we have kids we by some miracle started getting toy catalogues in the mail. I think we've gotten 6 of them so far!  It's crazy to see the toys that they have out.  Really, who needs a baby cadillac?  {grin}
