Our girls are BALD.
Still...
Apparently for some people this is devastating. Not me.
Not John
Not Ada
Not Evie...
We deal with it. We know that one day they'll have a full beautiful head of hair. And if they don't...
We'll still love them.
It seems like every time we go out we get asked if we have 2 little boys. We respond nicely, no girls (thinking to ourselves that the pink and purple could've hinted this off...). Typically the response we get is:
"Oh, but they don't have any hair..."
So now it's ok for boys to be bald but not girls? Good grief.
There's been many beautiful bald women, typically by choice but bald none the less. Just see here.
I do frequently wonder what they'll look like when they do get hair.
Soaking in the wonderful weather while we still have it. The girls are definitely enjoying it! The hard part is getting them to go back in with out putting up a fight!
Seriously, how beautiful is she? AND she's bald...
Ada and Evie think that leaves are an essential food group. The mama does not however...
A family of four! The neighbor offered to take our picture! That was really nice. We don't usually get this offer. People see our camera and get intimidated and don't want to touch it. Really, all you have to do is push a button just like every other camera! So it's not often we get a family of four picture.
I'm loving the sun glare pictures in the fall! It just screams fall time!
I guess that the "Oh, but they don't have hair" comments are getting right up there with the
"Do you have twins" comments. I guess it's something that we'll just have to deal with. Now I just have to convince John stop responding with "Crap! Where'd it go..."
{grin}
