Change Ups

We started changing a few things up with the girls recently over the last couple weeks.  The girls seem to be doing good with all the changes.

For starters we changed rooms with the girls (we'll get pictures of their new room up this week hopefully).

I can never get enough of those baby feet!

This means that John and I get our master bedroom back for ourselves!

Are we close enough yet?

After their afternoon meal we no longer nurse the girls, it's sippy cups now - still breast milk of course! In the last 2 weeks they've pretty much quadrupled the amount of baby food their eating.  

We now have to make baby food every couple of days to keep up!  We keep making it a bit thicker to eventually transition them to whole food, but that will be awhile still at the pace we're going!

We no longer get the girls up at 10 pm to nurse them, we let them sleep through.  John thought that this would be disastrous and that they would wake up at 4 am.  

They didn't.  They slept from 7:30 pm - 7:30 am.  My girls can sleep like crazy overnight, but once you try to get them to nap - NO WAY!

So in the last 2 weeks we've essentially eliminated 2 times that the girls nurse a day!

It's so sad - but at least I know that they still love it when the do nurse.

The girls got flip flops for their birthday from Aunt Jana and Uncle Paul.

They LOVE them!

Just not for their intended purpose.

The girls almost immediately pulled the flip flops off of each other and used them as their new chew toys.
