About John...

Here's the last list of 10 things...

(For now anyway)

Today it's all about John, the Daddy.  

1. John works overnights right now and sleeps during the day.

2. He has his M.F.A. in photography.  That's a Masters of Fine Arts.  It's a terminal degree, that means you can't go any hirer, just like a doctorate.  It's his pet peeve when people compare his M.F.A. to a Master's Degree (M.A.).  It's not the same.

3. John decided that he needs new shoes for when he walks the girls.  He came back with 2 pairs of shoes.  One is ridiculous, it has separate toes.  He gave me some story about being good for you.  

4. He's on a big red velvet cake kick recently.  He said that the best by far is the Ultimate Red Velvet Cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory.  It is pretty amazing...

5. Going to the farmer's market is one is his "guilty pleasures"  John always buys way more then he needs.  We still have kale in our fridge that's over a week old that he probably forgot about.

6. John's a Canon guy.  He loves the Canon cameras and whenever people ask him what kind of camera they should get he always tries to talk them into a Canon SLR camera.  Those are the expensive ones, but he says they're worth it (they are).

7. John loves to garden.  He used to tend to the garden daily, now we have 2 little distractions and he still does his best.

8. He makes one mean burger.  They're household famous! (not world famous yet)

9. John refuses to let us get a PC in our house, we only use Mac's.  He finds the "Hello, I'm a Mac" commercials hilarious. He's such a nerd...

10. He has more tools then he knows what to do with.  He always says he needs more, but we already have a garage full of them, there's probably 5 different types of saws alone!

10.5 John is happy when I'm happy ("happy wife, happy life" he says).  You know that posting comments makes me happy... Just saying...

Now of course your daily dose of cuteness...

In the mornings the girls have their regular parade into the bedroom to come eat.  This is one of John's favorite things to watch.  They'll be playing in the loft and I'll tell them that it's time to eat.  I'll go into their room and sit in the chair to nurse them.  They then will put down their toys and start crawling to the chair to eat!

Evie is usually first.

And here comes Ada!

It's really funny when they are hungry before I go in to feed them.  They will crawl to the chair and stand there and cry for a couple minutes, then get down and crawl out and look at me with the saddest puppy dog eyes that say "why aren't you feeding me???"
