John made a decision on this trip. We are no longer just getting the cheapest hotel we can. Once again it bit us in the butt. We've stayed in a lot of hotels over the years. {I used to be a proud Gold member of the Marriott Club} Well this hotel was probably battling for the top 3 worst hotels we've stayed in. It's biggest competition for that #3 spot was the Super 8 that smelled like a combination of salsa and B.O. I won't bother you with a full list of everything that was less then adequate about this motel. Sorry to John's brother and sister and their families that they switched to this motel!
We learned a lot of things this weekend. Let's look at the numbers!
12 - the number of queen size flat sheets that are needed to cover the floor to make it safe to put the girls down.
0 - The number of times that the fan in the bathroom turned on, making it almost impossible to dry towels.
16.85 - The cost for a large Domino's pizza with a completely inflated delivery charge.
$60.00 - the amount that should send a red flag that the motel is going to suck.
1 - The number of fitted sheets that a king size bed should have.
0 - The number of fitted sheets on the bed in our room....
2 - Absolutely adorable little girls!
1 - First Father's Day celebrated in our wonderful motel!
But at the end of the day, where it's celebrated doesn't really matter!
So next time I go on a trip I just have to listen to John and not get the cheapest hotel...

looks like the girls had a great time with all the sheets!!!
