We decided to take a little trip and headed down to the Farmer's Market downtown over the weekend with the girls. John loves the Farmer's Market and I always enjoy it too, but this was a first for the girls. Well, they reacted as they do when we take them anywhere.
They gave their stone faced, don't look at me, I don't really want to be bothered, why am I here look. It looks like they're trying to be tough, but it's really hard with cute headbands on.
Overall the trip went pretty well. It was taking the girls out of their usual routine which is always very tough for them, but they survived!
However you would never guess it from these faces.
Ada actually dropped her toy on the ground while we were sitting at the bench. It was amazing how quickly and stealthy she reached over and swiped poor, unsuspecting Evie's toy away from her.
No tears were shed amazingly.
It's always fun to see the new and different veggies and stuff they have at the market.
Who knew that there were so many different types of garlic!
I don't really like cauliflower, but purple cauliflower, it was hard to turn down!
We did pick up an AWESOME strawberry pie while we were down there. It did not last long in our house.
Of course since we were downtown we had to make a little side jaunt
To BLISS BAKERY!
(you would think that they pay me to talk about them, but really they don't!)
We ended up with 1/2 dozen carrot cake cupcakes.
We had to sit around and wait for them though so they could be freshly frosted!
(Have I mentioned how amazing the frosting is?)
This made Mama happy!
Overall the girls did really good and I think they're definitely going to get another dose of the Farmer's Market this summer, maybe we'll try Village Pointe next time?
