The girls have a new bath routine now. No longer do we give them baths. I know you're probably thinking right away WHAT! but let me explain...
We used to give the girls a bath once a week. In the wintertime they constantly had dry skin and fighting rashes. I mean really, it's not like they got dirty. Well it's summer now. It's hot out, the girls sweat, they play outside, they dig in the sand, they get dirty. We decided to switch to bath night every other night. We tried to give them baths together in the tub but it only caused all kinds of problems. There was splashing, trying to stand and falling over, etc. etc. It usually ended in tears from both the girls and us. This is when we decided to try something new. I suggested to John that we give them a shower. He said that it wouldn't work, what do we do, just toss them in the shower and turn on the water?
After explaining to John that he would just get in the shower and hold one girl at a time and wash them off he agreed to try it. He was sold! He tried it, and now the girls don't get a bath night every other night, they get a shower night. I think that it works out great! Does anyone else have a good bath/shower routine?
Since it would probably be frowned upon to show you pictures of John in the shower, we'll just stick to cute pictures of the girls...
This is what happens when Ada and Evie watch Daddy go down the stairs...
They then will shake the gate by bouncing up and down, it's a good thing that it's screwed into the wall.
Once Daddy comes back up, ALL SMILES!
Ada's interpretation of "double fisting"
We took a series of pictures of the girls sitting on the couch in their pajamas, it turned out WAY to cute.
See what I mean!

The 1st pajama picture where the girls have identical smiles is super cute!
