John's co-worker and friend, Stacy, is a knitter. She's really good. I hear she can knit a little bit of everything. She knitted the cutest toy set for the girls...
Vegetables and a produce bag!
How cute is that?!?!
The corn actually looks like corn!
The set has corn, a cucumber, a carrot, an onion, a tomato, and an eggplant.
The girls love to chew on the stems and really like the carrot, it has 3 stems. They're not crazy about the onion, I suppose it's because of the color?
You may not guess it from this picture, but the girls actually really like the toys.
These really look they they belong in a nice toy store. I can't believe that she knitted them. She needs to open up an Etsy.com shop I think. What do you think would they sell?
Speaking of new toys...
This bear brings out the worst of the girls!
John's parents recently brought a couple boxes of his old stuff. As he was sortin through everything, the girls found this little bear. I swear I had a bear just like this when I was kid. John has no idea what it's from so he let the girls take it. Out of all the times they've played with it, it has NEVER ended well. They fight like crazy over it, they fight with the bear, it's just overall a bad situation. The way they put the butt in their mouth is so silly, but the bear has it's squeaker on the bottom - right where all of their saliva manages to go. When they're done the bear is dripping spit!
Showing off those teeth!
Not so willing to show those teeth, but the necklace is pretty cute!
Ada is eyeing the Bear that Evie is playing with...
The girls are getting even better about "helping" in the kitchen. They especially like to help empty the dishwasher.
Now wait until I ask them to actually empty the dishwasher and they'll want nothing to do with it!

it's never to early to start them with the dishes! love the necklaces.
ReplyDeleteWhat a clever idea, knitted vegies!
